Every summer, as the sun never sets in Finland, people gather and fill their eyes with the sight to behold in the Lakeland and seaside areas.

They also have their festivals where they show their artistic cultural events to its visitors. One of these shows is the Savonlinna Opera Festivals which is often held in the courtyard of a medical castle.

In the festival, there are many types of music played by the finest musicians in town. It ranges from grunge to grand opera. They also present dance, drama, literature, and painting festivals. The festival is also a showcase of jazz, folk music and dance, rock and pop and visual arts. People of any age would surely enjoy the festival.

Visitors of this event often reaches up to two million and there are about 20,000 artists perform during this one spectacular event.

The festival does not only show how beautiful the place is but it also signifies how Finnish people love and enrich their culture.
