After a long trip in Spain, it is not a wonder why tourists will look deeper and visit some small yet beautiful places it for there are lots of gates to explore in the country.

Alarcon is a town in Spain situated along with the steep gorges that border the Jucar River (located at the east of Spain). It is a peaceful walled village composed of castle and churches that gives serenity and relaxed feeling to its visitors.
The castle still stands today despite the fact that many sieges and revolts took place through the years. It was originally founded by the Muslims in the 8th century but it was captured by King Alfonso VIII in the 12th century. Later on, it became the home of the famous writer Don Juan Manuel.
Visitors can have a wonderful time strolling around the village and they can also have a glimpse on the eagles soaring around and other birds of prey nesting in the rocky sides of the gorge.
