A well known city in the German state of Bavaria, Nuremberg is found in the administrative region of Middle Franconia. The city is located on the Pernitz River and the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal and it is said to be the largest city in Franconia.

Nuremberg is often regarded as the “unofficial capital” of the Holy Roman Emperor because Reichstage and courts usually met at Nuremberg Castle. Nuremberg has become an Imperial Free City under the notable Emperor Frederick II. Later on, the city became among the two famous trade centers on the route from the beautiful country of Italy to Northern Europe.
Among the products that can be bought in the city are the traditional gingerbread products, sausages and handmade toys. It was in the 19th century when Nuremberg was hailed as the industrial heart of Bavaria.
