Welcome to Veneto, one of the 20 regions of Italy. It is said to be once the cradle of the renowned Venetian Republic and currently it is hailed as one of the wealthiest amd most industrialized regions in the country.Veneto

Its natural, historical and artistic beauty simply makes it the most visited region of the country and it has about 13.5 million tourists every year. It is situated in the northeastern part of Italy which borders on the Italian regions of Emilia-Romagna and Lombardy. Veneto lies between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea and it is crossed by the Po, Adige, Brenta and Piva rivers. Just after the destruction and bombardments by the Allied Forces during the Second World War, the region became one of the poorest places in the country.

Among the amazing sites found in Veneto is Venice, which is listed as among the World Heritage by UNESCO, Verona-one of the cities that has better preserved its artistic heritage in Italy, Padua- a city of big significance for its cultural, historical and economic aspects and Vicenza.
