A beautiful country found in northern Europe, Estonia is said to have land borders to the south with Latvia and to the east with the well known Russia.

The country lies on the eastern shores of the Baltic Sea across the Gulf of Finland from Finland. Estonia is made up of oil shale and limestone deposits. It also has a lot of forests which play economic roles in the country. It has numerous rivers and the largest among them is the Vohandu, Parnu and Poltsamaa.
Estonia is part of the European Union and the country’s economy is hailed as “high income” by World Bank. It was in the year 1994 when the country became one the first countries in the world to have been able to adopt a flat tax which is said to have a uniform rate of 26%. Among the country’s exports are machinery and equipment, wood and paper, textiles, food products, furniture, metal and chemical products.
