Kazan is among the largest cities of Russia which a major industrial, commercial, and cultural center. It has a very large railway, highway and airway knot, and the largest port on the Volga River. It is the main economic center of Tatarsan. Its main branches of municipal industries are the automotive, chemical and petrochemical, light and food industries.

The central Kazan is divided into two districts by the Bolaq canal and the Lake Qaban. Its first district Qazan Bistase is located on the hill and its second district is found in between the Bolaq and the Volga. Though many have changed in Russia due to wars and other phenomena, Kazan has real bounties that tourists and visitors would love to see. Places and sites in Kazan should not be missed if ever one would want to explore Russia.
