PatrasPatras is the third-largest city of the historical country, Greece. It is built at the foothills of Mount Panachaikon which overlooks the Gulf of Patras.

The city is made up of numerous neoclassical buildings and mansions. It also has four museums and Patras is a home to many various Ancient Greek and Byzantine Monuments which includes the Roman Odeum, Castle of Rio, and Fortress of Patras. Its municipalities are the Moira, Souli, and Elekistra. The city also has numerous shopping centers, cafes, pubs, discos, restaurants, and educational and cultural facilities.

Patras has a larger service sector. Its main activities are retailing, logistics, financial services, and public sector services. The city also maintains its traditional winemaking and its foodstuff industries and small agricultural sector still operates in the city. Among the manufacturing processes in the city are the foodstuff industries, wineries and distilleries, dairy products, pharmaceutical production, textiles, machinery, timber, and energy.
