MoscowMoscow is the capital of Russia and happens to be the principal political, economic, financial, educational, and transportation center.

It is situated on the Moskva River in the Central Federal District, in the European part of Russia. It is well-known as the very site of Saint Basil’s Cathedral with elegant onion domes and also the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. Moscow became the host of the 1980 Summer Olympics. The city is also considered as one of the most important science centers of Russia. In fact, there are many research and applied science institutions found in the city.

It was in 2006 when it was named as the world’s most expensive city for expatriate employees. It is also one of the top cities in the world for billionaires. Moscow’s primary industries include the chemical, metallurgy, food, textile, furniture, and machinery industries. Moscow is also famous for wonderful and significant art, murals, mosaics, and ornate chandeliers.
