Simply known as the site of the council of Horsens municipality, Horsens is the Danish town found in east Jutland.

It is said that about 50% of people from Aarhus go to Horsens simply because the city is more affordable than their previous habitat. Horsens is undergoing a positive development with new industry that goes to the city and some are expanding their activities in Horsens. The city is also the only industrial museum in the country and is the home to Vitus Bering University College.

The people in Horsens try so hard to expand and improve cultural events and some of the international artists like Elton John, The Beach Boys, Tom Jones, Bryan Adams, David Bowie, Madonna and the Rolling Stones have already performed in the city and others are still planning to have great performances in Horsens. The annual European Medieval Festival every last Friday and Saturday of August is among the largest cultural events in the city.
