Spanish musicMusic has become part of the changing lives of the people and the Spanish music has definitely contributed to the music experience of many. The music of Spain is often associated with flamenco- an Andalusian genre of music but is actually not a representative of all Spain. The country has a lot of regional styles of folk music as well as modern styles of popular culture like pop, rock, hip hop, heavy metal and punk.

The flamenco however is an Andalusian traditional folk music which is made up of three forms; the song or cante, the dance or baile and the guitar or guitarra. It originated in Cadiz, Jerez de la Frontera and Triana. The traditional music of the country can be traced as far back as early 19th century where a handful of ritual religious music is traced back to renaissance and in the middle age eras. Some of the famous singers in Spain are Enrique Iglesias, Julio Iglesias, Paloma Berganza, David Bisbal and a lot more.
