Welcome to Ostia Antica, simply the Rome’s Pompeii. It is a 4 km inland developed as a sea port during the third century located not far from the center of Rome.
The place is an ancient port town filled with prosperous resort and villas and holds a very significant history in the city. In fourth century BC, Ostia Antica was the major naval and trading base. The place was in use by a new port at Fiumicino during the third century.
