A well known breakfast dish in Germany, muesli is made of uncooked rolled oats and fresh fruits. The muesli is categorized into two kinds and these are the dry and fresh muesli.
The dry muesli is a loose combination of rolled oats with different kinds of dried fruit, nuts and seeds. This kind of muesli usually has other rolled cereal grains like the wheat or rye flakes. There are a lot of varieties of the dry muesli where some of them have honey, spices or chocolate. This muesli can also be stores for several months and it can be served immediately with milk, yogurt and fresh juice.
The fresh muesli on the other hand, is a mixture which includes rolled oats that were soaked in water or fresh juice. There are also other delicious ingredients used in it such as the dried fruit, milk, lemon juice, ground nuts, seeds, spices and muesli mix.
