Schinias Beach is situated in Marathon, Attica, near Athens. It is one of the most beautiful bathing spots in Greece. It has an enchanting coastline pine forest that reaches the water’s edge and also the very fine sand of the beach. There are also hotels that can be seen in the area which are just few kilometers from Schinias. Environmental parks are also found in the beach.

Bicycle riding can also be done in the beach. Schinias’ water is crystal clear and is shallow. The beach is fortunately protected by the hills on the east and it rarely experience waves of various size. The beach is also safe for children for it does not have currents or tides that might harm or endanger the children.
