DublinDublin is simply the capital and the largest city in the beautiful land of Ireland. It is also the third most visited capital city in Europe with over four million visitors and tourists a year.

It is governed by Dublin City Council. Its name is a Hiberno-English derivative of “Dubh Linn” which means “black pool.” Dublin has a maritime temperate climate characterized by mild winters, cool summers, and a lack of temperature extremes. It also does not experience as high rainfall as the western part of Ireland.

The city is a major European cultural center and is the origin of numerous prominent figures. Among the places to visit in Dublin are the National Print Museum of Ireland, Irish Museum of Modern Art, the National Gallery, National Library of Ireland, and the National Museum of Ireland. The Temple Bar is one of the most popular nightlife locations of Dublin and it attracts many visitors and tourists all over the world.
