A typical town with a very long history, Aarschot is a municipality in Flemish Brabant in Flanders which is among the three regions found in Belgium.
It comprises the towns of Gelrode, Langdorp, and also Rillaar. The city is said to have a total population of about 27,864 and its total area is 62.52 square kilometers. Aarschot’s history dates back to the era of Roman emperors.
