The capital city of France is situated on the banks of the river Seine and is said to be the most populated metropolitan areas in Europe. However, Paris is still the leading center of economic activity in France and it produces US$595.3 billion GDP.
Paris is called the city of love because it conjures up images of wonderful and romantic goings-on in the city. It is filled up with lovers of language, architecture, culture, and history. In the southern part you will find Montparnasse where many artistic intellectual movements of the last century are placed. To the west is the Bois de Boulogne and to the east is the Bois de Vincennes, both are huge parks where you can catch a glimpse of lovers who nestle during the day.
