A municipality in Region Hovedstaden on the island of Zealand in eastern Denmark, Hoje-Taastrup has a total population of 45,948.

Its neighboring municipalities are Alberstlund and Vallensbaek. The town as well as Taastrup and Hedehusene are railway station towns in the Greater Copenhagen Authority. The station in Hoje Taastrup is said to be among the largest in the country and it offers excellent local, regional and national train connections. It is a new development which is centered on the train station.
Among the wonderful sites where one can enjoy strolling at is the Ole Romer museum which is found in Vridslosemagle. It features the work of the Danish astronomer, Ole Romer who is said to have built his observatory in the place. There is also the Reerslev Church where one can find spiritual peace through its ancient scenery. There are also numerous buildings in the town. Hoje Taastrup has a lot of immigrants from Vietnam and Muslim countries.
