Ukraine is a country in the Eastern Europe bordered by Russia to the north-east, Belarus in the north, and Slovakia, Poland, and Hungary in the west.

During the ninth century, Ukraine became the center of medieval East Slavic civilization building up the state of Kievan Rus and in the following centuries the territory was divided in a number of regional powers.

Today, Ukraine is among the top thirty world economies. It is a significant industrial and agricultural component in the country’s economy. It imports energy supplies such as oil and natural gas though the country has been trying to diversify its sources to maintain it. Bit is also one of the world’s centers for sugar production. And it has different industries that enhance the country’s natural resources and lifestyle.

People in Ukraine are not hard to deal with knowing that they have attitudes and beliefs influenced from the eastern and western neighbors.
